Awesome Tour Company in San Ignacio!

My wife and I recently spent a few days in San Ignacio which we loved. Our hosts at Villa Cayo recommended Explore Inland Tours to us and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome.
We did trips to Tikal in Guatemala and a trip to the ATM caves and thoroughly enjoyed both trips. From the time we were picked up from our accommodation each morning to the time we were dropped off each evening, the whole operation was seamless.

For our trip to Tikal Sergio senior drove us to the Belize border and made sure we passed through the border without any fuss and joined our driver on the Guatemala side of the border. We were then well looked after during our time in Guatemala (excellent and knowledgeable guide at Tikal, commentary on the way and a nice lunch on the way back). Sergio was waiting for us when we got back to the border and dropped us back at the door of our accommodation.

The driver and guide we had for our trip to the ATM caves was also excellent (as were the caves!) and we have a nice lunch to finish before being ferried back to San Ignacio and then being dropped back to our accommodation. Sergio even sent us some photos of the caves after the tour since cameras are now banned in the cave for all visitors, after some artifacts were damaged a few years back by careless visitors dropping their cameras on them!

We were so happy with our experience with Explore Inland Tours that we booked a private shuttle from San Ignacio to Belize City at the end of our stay. Sergio junior took us and we arranged to stop off along the way at Belmopan (probably not a must see thing for most but we wanted to stop and have a look) and also at the Belize zoo for a couple of hours - which we really enjoyed.

The whole team are friendly and professional and we couldn't have been happier with our tours and our personal shuttle from San Ignacio to Belize City.

We'd highly recommend Sergio and the team. https://www.exploreinlandtours.com/
